About the Author
Grant Rayner began his adult life in the military, starting in the infantry where he served as both a soldier and a non-commissioned officer. He later commissioned as an officer, serving in intelligence and special operations roles.
After leaving military service in 2002, Grant established himself as a security and crisis management consultant. Since 2012, he has run his own security consulting company, supporting global companies and NGOs across Asia and the Middle East. With over 24 years of experience in the field, he has travelled extensively and supported clients during and after a wide range of complex crisis events.
He is also an active photographer, with work exhibited internationally. One of his side projects includes designing discreet and durable travel bags under the Station XV brand.
Grant is an established author, having written more than ten non-fiction books on travel security and crisis management. These books are available on the Spartan9 website. Memoirs of an Assassin was his first work of fiction. The Russia Assignment is its sequel.
Grant has lived in Singapore for more than two decades. He travels frequently and can often be found writing in cafés around the world.
He is definitely not an assassin.
